Von wo immer Sie auf diesen Berg schauen: Sie sehen eine Pyramide. So dominiert der Niesen den Thunersee und aus dem Bahnfenster erleben Sie spektakuläre Ausblicke. Zuerst geht’s steil durch den Wald, dann säumen saftige Alpweisen die Strecke und bald schon nach der Zwischenstation sind Steine und Felsformationen zu sehen. Vom Gipfel aus ist fast das ganze Berner Oberland zu Ihren Füssen und das Bergrestaurant bietet eine unvergleichliche Aussicht auf Täler und Seen.
Ein Eckzimmer mit Süd- und Westsicht. Zugestanden, das Westfenster ist klein und im Bad – doch die goldenen Strahlen beim Sonnenuntergang verzaubern Sie beim Baden nach einem Ausflug in die Berge: Ihre Haut wirkt noch viel weicher und jünger!

D’où que vous regardiez cette montagne : Vous voyez une pyramide. Le Niesen domine le lac de Thoune et, depuis la fenêtre du train qui vous mène au sommet, vous bénéficiez d’une vue spectaculaire. Au début, la route est raide à travers la forêt, puis des prairies alpines bordent le parcours et peu après la station intermédiaire le paysage change. Depuis le sommet, la quasi-totalité de l’Oberland bernois est à vos pieds et le restaurant de montagne offre des vues inégalées sur les vallées et les lacs et bien sûr un bon repas ou une boisson désaltérante.
Une chambre d’angle avec vue sud et ouest. Certes, la fenêtre ouest est petite et se trouve dans la salle de bains – mais les rayons dorés du coucher du soleil vous enchanteront lorsque vous vous baignerez après une excursion à la montagne : votre peau paraîtra encore plus douce !

Look at this mountain from any angle and you will see a pyramid. Mount Niesen towers over Lake Thun, and you can enjoy spectacular views from the funicular railway. Ascending steeply through the forest at first, the landscape then yields to lush Alpine pastures and, soon after the midway station, to boulders and cliffs. On the summit, you have almost the entire Bernese Oberland at your feet, and the mountain restaurant beckons with stunning views of the valleys and lakes.
A south and west-facing corner room. Admittedly, the western aspect is small and in the bathroom, but you will be enchanted by the golden rays if you take a bath at sunset after a trip to the mountains – your complexion will appear even softer and younger!
