Den Speichersee oberhalb der Kleinen Scheidegg kennen alle Läufer des Jungfrau-Marathons. Denn jetzt geht’s nicht mehr weit bis zum Ziel und manche üben schon das Lächeln für das Zielfoto. Im Hintergrund thront die dunkle Eigernordwand, deren Besteigung aber andere Schuhe und Kleidung erfordert.
Irgendwo müssen Tische, Stühle, Papierwaren und Prospekte gelagert werden. Dafür nutzen wir diesen kleinen Raum und halten darin peinlich genau Ordnung… Ja, wer’s glaubt! Es ist also sozusagen unser Dachboden.

Tous les coureurs du marathon de la Jungfrau connaissent ce réservoir situé au-dessus de la petite Scheidegg. Car maintenant, le but est proche et certains sont déjà prêts à sourire pour la photo d’arrivée. La face nord de l’Eiger se dresse à l’arrière-plan, mais si vous voulez l’escalader, il faudra mettre d’autres chaussures et vêtements que si vous voulez courir le marathon.
Il faut bien stocker à quelque part les tables, les chaises et autres. C’est cette pièce que nous utilisons pour cela. Elle est naturellement méticuleusement rangée… C’est donc notre grenier, pour ainsi dire.

Runners taking part in the Jungfrau Marathon are very familiar with the reservoir above the Kleine Scheidegg. It isn’t far to the finish line from here, and some are already practising their smile for the finish photo! The brooding Eiger North Face looms in the background, but climbing it requires somewhat different footwear and clothing.
We have to store tables, chairs, stationery and brochures somewhere. That’s what we use this small room for – and of course we keep it meticulously tidy… ahem! This is our attic, so to speak.
