Reception
The reception is your information office and open daily from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. If you have any questions, requests or wishes contact us and we will try our best to assist you.
drinking water
Tap water in Interlaken mainly comes from the fresh source of the Nessleren Alp in the Saxet valley and you can drink it to your heart’s content. However please try not to waste water.
Culinary
Breakfast: 7 to 10 a.m.
If you leave before 7 a.m., we prepare you a breakfast box. Just inform us until 6 p.m. the day before.
Afternoon: 2 to 5 p.m.
As a guest of the Hotel Stella, you can enjoy a coffee or a tea in our lobby free of charge.
Beverages
Please use our honesty bar in the lobby. For a widder range, a Wine- and drinks menu is available at reception.
Dinner
Our reception team is happy to give you suggestions for restaurants or take-aways in town. A microwave, plates and cutlery as well as seating opportunities you will find in our lounge.

Parking
There are totaly 17 free parking spaces available arround Stella Hotel. On a few days, some guests need to use the public parkings, that are not free of charge. The “Rosen parking” as well as the parking “PZI” are within 2 – 3 minutes walking distance from the Hotel.
Check-in times
Your room will be ready for check-in between 15.00 and 23.00.
In case of an earlier arrival, you can easily store your bags and maybee, the room is already cleaned for you and we can check you in. This is depending on the departer time of the guests that stay in the room the night before. If you want to have a guearanteed early check-in, please also book the pre-night.
If you are arriving after 23.00, pleas let us know in advance, so we can organize your check-in. Thank you.
Indoor swimming pool
You will find a bathrobe, slippers and pool towel in the wardrobe in your room. The entrance is accessible with your key card. Our pool is open daily from 7 am until 10 pm. The water temperature is 27 °C and the air temperature is approx. 30 °C. Parents are responsible for their children. Please be informed that there is no lifeguard on duty.
A certificated laboratory checks the water quality regularly and the Stella bathing water complies with the legal requirements.
Hotel key card
The key card opens the main door and your room door. The entrance to the pool is accessible with the same card.
Pillows and blankets
In your room you find two different pillows. Please ask the reception desk if you would like to have other pillows or another blanket – we will try to provide one.
Toiletries
At the reception there are some toiletries for daily use available. If you forgot something, we would help you out.
Wake-up call
Would you like to have a wake-up call? Please contact reception staff and let us know about your room number and the alarm time.
Trips and Excursions
Opposite the reception desk you find all the brochures you may need. Ask reception if you need any timetables.
Internet
Our free WIFI is available all over the hotel. To log in please follow the instructions on the information paper we handed out at check-in. If you need assistance, please come to reception or call the free helpline 0800 666 966.
Newspapers
On workdays some Swiss newspapers in German can be borrowed near the reception desk.
Security / Water kettle
In accordance with the fire police, it is strictly forbidden to cook in your room – this includes heating appliances such as hot plates or immersion heaters. You may heat up water to make yourself a cup of tea. It is forbidden to heat anything else than water. Thank you.
In the event of infringements, you will have to pay for the repair of the damage.
Room safe
All rooms are fitted with a safety box. You may use the box with a personal code.
Laundry Service
We can do your laundry (washing and ironing – no dry cleaning) daily. You can find the pricelist and conditions on the form in your room’s wardrobe. There is a sewing-kit in your room. If you wish to get assistance, feel free to ask at the reception.
Shoe cleaning
You will find the shoe cleaning machine near the entrance to the indoor pool. Shoe brush and shoe polish, you can borrow at Reception.
Telephone
The internal number for reception is 91 and will be answered between 7 am and 11 pm. Incoming calls will also be put through between these times.
For external local calls dial the number 0 followed by the phone number. To connect with other rooms, dial the two-digit room number. For rooms 3 to 9 you need to dial 5 before dialling the room number.
SOS / Emergency
Dial 91 internally for emergencies. At night there will be an announcement. Just hold the line if you need support. Or dial

Meeting point in case of evacuation
In case of an emergency which makes it necessary to evacuate the hotel the meeting point is at the small chapel across the road – please come down to Reception immediately and follow the instructions.
Departure
We kindly ask you to vacate your room by 11:30 a.m. on the day of departure. For a late check-out, please enquire at reception about the possibility and the extra charge. Please inform reception if you require a luggage service.
If you wish to leave before 7 a.m., please let us know the day before, so we can prepeare everything. Thank you.
Luggage Keeping
On your departure we may keep your luggage at reception until 10 pm the same day.
