Birg ist die Zwischenstation Mürren-Schilthorn und entweder sind Sie in oder über den Wolken. Die Szenerie kann bei trübem Wetter dramatisch sein oder bei Kaiserwetter beeindruckend. Mitbesucher sind die Bergdohlen, die sich gerne aus Ihrem Rucksack verpflegen lassen. Oder vom Restauranttisch – die klugen Vögel kennen das ganze Angebot!
Es sind die handbemalten Kacheln beim Lavabo und in der Dusche, die Ihren Blick suchen. Und die Farbkombination lila/apfelgrün ist ungewohnt, aber flattiert mit Charme. Wenn Sie auf dem Südbalkon den Tag ausklingen lassen, sind Sie mit der Krone des Nussbaums auf gleicher Höhe. Natur und Gelassenheit haben sich schon immer gut vertragen.

Le paysage peut être dramatique par temps nuageux ou époustouflant par temps ensoleillé. Les autres visiteurs sont les choucas, qui sont heureux d’être nourris avec ce qui se trouve dans votre sac à dos ou de la table du restaurant. Ils connaissent tout le répertoire par coeur.
Ce sont les mosaïques peintes à la main autour du lavabo et dans la douche qui attirent votre regard. La combinaison de couleurs violet / vert pomme semble inhabituelle, mais elle a du charme. Lorsque vous terminez la journée sur le balcon orienté sud, vous êtes au même niveau que la couronne du noyer. La nature et la sérénité ont toujours fait bon ménage.

Birg is the midway station between Mürren and the Schilthorn, and you’ll find yourself either in or above the clouds. This paints a dramatic scene in poor and an impressive scene in sunny weather. Your fellow visitors are the Alpine choughs, who are happy to be fed from your backpack. Or from the restaurant table – these smart birds know their way around the entire menu!
The hand-painted tiles above the washbasin and the shower will immediately catch your eye. The purple and apple-green colour scheme is unusual but charming. Let the day draw to a close on the south-facing balcony overlooking the crown of the walnut tree. Nature and relaxation always make a wonderful pairing.
